If you already own a classic car, we can help you choose the right electric motor from our range of Asian and European suppliers and complete the conversion. If your car needs restoration work first, we can take care of that too.

Each conversion is unique, customised to your budget and requirements. Mad Maxine
This 1963 VW Beetle was modified pre-1989 into its unique ute shape today, and was registered and driven up until 1998. It was stored in a container for over twp decades years and then in a shed for five years. After being off the road for 27 years, and following a lot of loving restoration, Mad Maxine is back on the road!

Our story
Xtra Volted Vintage is a dream many years in the making. With 25 years of experience in electronics and steel work, owner Xavier Vaughan Converting classics to electric combines his love of vintage cars, environmental care, technology and Australian manufacturing. Classic cars that have thrived for 50-plus years can continue for decades to come through electric conversion, taking advantage of modular technologies and increased affordability.
